The Rundown: Thor seeks a tale from Loki to discover more about the threat he faces.

In the aftermath of his battle with Toranos and the news that his mother is in league with the elder gods, Thor seeks answers before confronting her. Answers that he thinks can come from revisiting his past with Loki. Unfortunately, Loki is willing to tell him the truth about one of their meetings while reminding Thor that Loki is his enemy.

Their tale in the past has the pair crossing a mysterious bridge into a dark and forbidding land. After discovering a giant to rival any they have seen, they discover something interesting. Something another in the present is watching with his own interest.

The Story: Ewing delivers another great story that expands on the mythology of the character as well as giving Thor a deeper insight into his own past. The Thor/Loki dynamic within the story continues to be compelling and layered in its complexity and Loki has a presence that is both welcoming and menacing. You never know if the character is going to help Thor or plunge a knife into him and that dangerous element makes the story more appealing.

The Art: Coccolo delivers great art that is reminiscent of some of the best visual depictions of Thor from the classic comics.
