The Rundown: Shuri investigation into a killer brings the suspect dangerously close to home.

After a final meeting with Storm, T’Challa decides that it is time to depart Arrako. At the same time, Shuri continues to analyze data from the attacks in order to find out who is trying to kill her brother and his undercover agents. Unfortunately, what she finds not only puts a target on her back but leads back to Wakanda itself.

After returning to the country, T’Challa confronts Omolola about his suspicions, but she is adamant that she is not the one trying to kill him. Unfortunately, she might not get the chance to prove her innocence as Black Panther, Shuri and the protectors of Wakanda move in to take her down.

The Story: Ridley does a brilliant job of showcasing the investigative and detective elements of this story. The issue also does a great job of showing a darker side to T’Challa. One that seems rooted in paranoia. I like the layers to this story and how the plot takes interesting and compelling chances in both its storytelling and characters. An impressive story that kept me riveted and interested in what happens next.

The Art: Cabal and Moustafa deliver some dynamic and wonderfully detailed art in the issue. There are some great character moments and awesome energy in the visuals.
