The Rundown: Violet is on the run as her father discovers more about where he’s been taken.

After narrowly escaping being captured by the same men who took her dad. Violet and Walter manage to find a way to hide while the ghosts rip through the men chasing them. At the same time, Violet’s father David wakes up and discovers where he has been taken and for what purpose.
Violet continues to take care of Walter as the surviving men chasing them deal with one of them being infected. After escaping, Walter and Violet make their way to another safe area, but they also continue to be hunted.
The Story: Harms crafts a dark, interesting and entertaining story in this issue. I continue to love the world building in this series and this issue has some great moments of tension between Violet and Walter. You still don’t know much about the character and I like the mystery within the story. I look forward to seeing where that story goes as well as David’s revelation about where he is.
The Art: Mavinga creates beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I really love the visuals in this issue.
