The Rundown: The worlds of Spider-Man and Miles Morales clash violently in an unexpected place.

After learning more about his father, Miles returns to school and finds himself conflicted in his feelings and confiding in Valentina. After learning more about her life and family and dealing with his complicated feelings towards Jeff, Miles enters school only to find Revenant waiting for him.
Miles manages to escape and suit up as Spider-Man as Valentina fights to help her peers and teachers escape the school. Revenant is confronted by Spider-Man again and the pair take the fight off school grounds, but someone arrives to make an unexpected sacrifice that will change everything for both Miles Morales and Spider-Man.
The Story: Hill crafts a thrilling, entertaining story in this issue. There’s great action throughout and some great character moments for Miles as he continues to deal with his conflicting feelings about his father. I like the buildup of tension throughout the story as Miles has to lock in to being Spider-Man when the attack comes close to home and the cliffhanger ending makes me intrigued to see where the story goes next.
The Art: Leon creates some beautiful art in the issue. The action is visually stunning and I love the character designs and details throughout the issue.
