The Rundown: Aguilar and Halwell discover their murder victim was hiding more secrets that lead to more suspects.

The detectives continue to go over the evidence that they have so far and all their leads end up leading them to more suspects on the compound. The pair decide to return to the compound to interview the seventh wife who is pregnant and her story leads them to the second wife Galilee who has a history with Aguilar.
Their conversation leads to the victim’s son and a hidden house that only a few knew about. A hidden second home outside the compound that the victim took his son. The detectives take the son to the house and discover another secret within it that could upend their entire case.
The Story: Tunnell continues to craft an engaging, entertaining story in this issue. I love that the story takes time to really investigate the characters motives and consequences. There is an interesting mystery shaping up within this series and every reveal adds a new and intriguing layer to the story that is keeping me invested. I really like the reveal at the end of this issue and look forward to seeing where this story goes next.
The Art: Tesslyn Bergin-Dicoi creates some great imagery throughout the issue. I really like the visual contrasts between the flashbacks and the present action.
