The Rundown: Daredevil races to stop Omen when he realizes who his next target is.

Omen has murdered a police detective and his partner is not taking it well. Daredevil confronts the man’s partner who is puking in the street and feeling guilty about not doing anything to stop the killing. At the same time, Foggy returns to New York and is unable to get in contact with Matt. As the two men talk, the detective reveals information that tells Matt that Foggy might be the next victim.
Daredevil races from the scene and discovers Omen in Foggy’s apartment. As the two battle, Omen reveals that he knows Matt is Daredevil. He also reveals that he has seen the future and what he’s seen directly connects to Daredevil.
The Story: Phillips crafts a story with great tension and suspense throughout the issue. I love the buildup of tension throughout with Foggy’s return and Daredevil’s confrontation with the detective. The pacing is fast, but never feels rushed. Everything that has been building in this arc comes to a head while also allowing for the mystery to continue in different ways. I really enjoyed the turns this story took and the ending makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Garbett creates some beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. I love the character designs a lot.
