The Rundown: Lobo discovers that his latest contract has put an unwanted spotlight on him.
Lobo is making his way across the galaxy when he decides to stop at a local bar for a drink and discovers the patrons watching a movie created by one of the mega corporations populating the galaxy. After finding out that his bounty has been canceled, he decides to go after the people who did it to get his fee.
After making his way to the corporate headquarters of Omni Mega Entertainment, he threatens the head of the company and takes out a bunch of corporate security guards before the CEO offers him a deal that could change his life and put him on the intergalactic map.
The Story: Young crafts a thrilling, fun and funny story that is pure id and classic Lobo in tone and style. It has a unique and entertaining edge that I expect from anything written by Skottie Young and it was an enjoyably fun experience reading this new adventure of the Main Man. There are some fun references throughout the story and the plot has some intriguing teases of what’s to come.
The Art: Corona delivers beautifully detailed art that is as loud and brash as the character depicted in it.
