The Rundown: Slade Wilson finds his latest target to be someone close to him.

Rose and Wintergreen discuss Slade and his life as the man himself prepares for his latest contract. One that requires a silent hit, but Slade decides to make this one loud.

After setting off a series of explosions and killing multiple security mercenaries, Slade makes his way into the safe house only to discover the body of an old friend and that someone has emptied all of his bank accounts. Caught in an obvious trap, Deathstroke decides that his next mission will be one of revenge.

The Story: Fleecs crafts a thrilling, action packed story in this first issue. Deathstroke has always been an interesting character, but Fleecs does something more interesting with him by stripping away everything that he cares about including his money. There is great action throughout the issue and the progression of the issue teases that some new and intriguing things are going to happen to and for Slade Wilson going forward.

The Art: Di Giandomenico creates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue.
