The Rundown: Arlene and Thomas continue their investigation and gramma beaks out of her catatonic state.

After finding the other oil worker, Arlene and Thomas bring the man back to the house and tend to him while Arlene goes to check on her grandmother. After trying to connect with the woman, she is surprised when she attacks her and she treats her injuries while the man rambles about seeing something not human.
Arlene and Thomas continue to investigate and gramma attacks again. Thomas holds her while Arlene goes looking for rope to tie her up and sees something in the basement that prompts her to not only run, but reveal the truth about herself before getting her gun and preparing for what’s next.
The Story: Condon and Ehrich create a thrilling, engaging and intriguing story in this issue. I continue to enjoy how this story is unfolding and the different layers to the characters. I liked the reveal about Arlene and what it means for her interactions with Thomas. I like that there are new and interesting mysteries being explored in this issue and how the story is blending that mystery with some great horror elements.
The Art: Adlard crafts some great visuals throughout the issue. I really love the menacing look of the grandmother and the seething rage behind her eyes.
