The Rundown: Clark tries to find purpose beyond battle and discovers a new mission.

In the aftermath of the siege of Smallville, Clark has moved into the Kent farm and is trying to live some type of normal life, but the constant screams of those in need of his help call him and he tries to answer as many as he can. This prompts him to make a decision about the man who tried to turn him and he pays a visit to Ras Al Ghul.
In an attempt to bring the terrorist back to his former purpose, Clark spends time with the man while finding ways to distract himself from getting closer to anyone else including both Lana and Lois. At the same time, Brainiac is still on the loose and decides to pay a visit to a familiar home.
The Story: Aaron crafts an engaging story in this issue. I love seeing Clark stumble and struggle as he deals with the reality of where he is and what he is. The internal struggle is what makes this story so compelling and you see real pain in the character as he tries to navigate a world that is on the brink and constantly reaching out for help. A great, thoughtful and entertaining story from start to finish.
The Art: Juan Ferreyra crafts beautifully detailed and visually thrilling art throughout the issue. I love the character designs and how the tone of the story is being enhanced by the vibrancy of the art and colors.
