The Rundown: Cyclops makes his move to stop Doug before the Age of Revelation begins.

After teaming with Beast in the future, Cyclops takes over the mind of his younger self and uses the moment Doug came to enlist their help as the perfect moment to kill him. Unfortunately, his plans are thwarted and he is thrown into a cell where the others contemplate not only what happened, but what to do with Scott.
Scott manages to escape his cell and pays a visit to Magneto where he discovers that something is wrong with the timeline he remembers. Something that will change his plans, but not his mission as his words to Doug force him and his group to set out on their own with a mission of their own.
The Story: McKay creates some great drama throughout the story and reminds me how interesting, intense and skilled Scott Summers is as a character. There is a lot of intensity throughout the story among the characters and I loved the interactions. The confrontation between Scott and Doug is engaging and I look forward to seeing what that brings out in the future.
The Art: Daniel crafts some beautifully detailed imagery throughout the issue. I love the character designs and how the environments enhance the mood of the story.
