The Rundown: Sara discovers more about Aphrodite IX as the android begins to craft a new life for herself.
Sara and Jake discover that the man that Aphrodite killed had something in his possession that could wiped out the entire city and more. As they deal with the reality of what she is and what she is becoming, the three are attacked by androids who are trying to bring Aphrodite back to ASI.
Jake ultimately confronts Aphrodite about their shared past and the acts she has committed for the company causing the android to seek revenge on the people who created her. Sara and Jake arrive to discover something interesting about the CEO of the company as well as a secret about Aphrodite herself.
The Story: Bennett crafts a dark, thrilling story in this issue. There are some great moments between Sara and Aphrodite and I love the moments of introspection that the story gives Sara in this issue. There is some great action throughout the issue as well and I really liked the reveal towards the end of the issue and what it means for the character going forward.
The Art: Cafaro creates beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. The imagery is enhanced brilliantly by the colors and how they bring out the characters.
