The Rundown: Miles is captured as Jefferson makes a confession to Rio.

Revenant captured Miles and temporarily paralyzed him in order to take him to his underground lair. At the same time, Jeff decides to sit down with Rio and tell her the truth about the man who is trying to kill them. Miles is confronted by the man who used to be called Martin Moore and learns about his life and his capture by the Kingpin.

Miles tries to keep Revenant talking to give him time to regain his strength and learns more about the man and the experiments that turned him into a monster. Experiments that he says he endures by remembering his hatred for Jefferson. As he talks, Miles looks for an escape, but he might not like what he learns about his father in the aftermath.

The Story: Hill does a great job of crafting a story with a lot of tension and suspense. I like that it gives the bigger story time to breathe as it gives the reader more context on who Revenant is and his connection to Jefferson. I also like that it is bringing some tension and drama to the Morales household as both Rio and Miles are going to have to deal with the reality of what Jeff has done and the fallout it is bringing to their door.

The Art: Leon and De Landro brilliantly balance their artistic styles in this issue and I continue to love both the brighter aspects of the current story and the noir elements and shadows of the flashback.
