The Rundown: Sara begins a new investigation with a new set of complications.

After meeting a mysterious green haired woman in a bar, Sara wakes up the next day with a dead man in her bed and her new partner knocking at her door. After finding a way to clean herself up and hide the body, she finds herself investigating a series of murders with the only link being a new security system. After paying a visit to the uncooperative CEO of the company, Sara decides to concentrate on the dead man she brought home.

After taking his ID, she heads to his apartment where she finds the mysterious woman waiting for her. Unable to resist her, their flirting turns into a violent clash that will leave Sara bleeding out and the woman known as Aphrodite IX returning to the company she works for to have her memories erased.

The Story: Bennett creates a thrilling, entertaining story in this issue. I love the mystery at the beginning of the story as well as the drama with Sara and her partner. There is a great buildup of suspense as Sara investigates multiple crimes and I really enjoyed the reveal at the apartment and the subsequent encounter between Sara and Aphrodite IX. The dynamic between the two is great and I look forward to seeing how they interact when they meet again.

The Art: Cafaro delivers stunning visuals throughout the issue especially the character designs.
