The Rundown: Violet is trapped with Walter and the man who tried to kill her with something dark coming for them.

As ghosts move towards the compound, David finds himself trapped alone. As he tries to protect himself, he is taunted by the spirits who use his dead wife as a way to torture him emotionally. At the same time, Violet is trapped with the man who tried to kill her and Walter as more spirits move into the area.

She uses the only means that she has to keep the spirits at bay, but there is a darker entity coming for Walter. One that has emerged from the depths and is walking on land towards where they are trapped. Violet takes violent means to delay the attack on them as Walter leaves her with a message before sacrificing himself to allow her escape.

The Story: Harms crafts an intense, thrilling and suspenseful story in this issue. The lore continues to be impressive and interesting as new and engaging elements continue to be introduced in this story. I really love the rising suspense throughout this story and cannot wait to see what happens next especially with where the story leaves father and daughter at the end of the issue.

The Art: Mavinga crafts some beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue. The horror elements are brilliantly done.
