Deron GenerallyMarvel Entertainment has released a new teaser for their upcoming live action Cloak and Dagger series on ABC’s Freeform channel.
The new footage shows the differences in the lives of the two teens at the center of the series and we see out first footage of Tyrone’s powers in action. The series will have its premiere at a watch party at SXSW (South by Southwest) in Austin Texas on March 11. Take a look and tell me what you think.
This live-action interracial romance follows Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson, two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers while falling in love. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart—but their feelings for each other make their already complicated world even more challenging.
Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger premieres on Freeform June 7th.
