The Rundown: Logan and his team continue their hunt for Ilyana as she solidifies her power.
Ilyana is on the run and decides to return to Limbo where she finds its ruler Belasco. Finding him complacent in his power, she finally decides to end his reign, regain her power and take his throne.
At the same time, Logan, Jean and Sentinel One make their way outside Latveria where they find a massacre and one man in the center of it. Unable to find a way to stop him verbally, Logan ends up killing him. Unfortunately, whatever has infected the man infects Logan and he goes after Jean.
The Story: Condon continues his slow burn to the final encounter with Magick and I am looking forward to seeing it. There is great, dark energy to this story that seeps into the characters. I really enjoy the dynamic between Logan and Jean and the mystery at the heart of this issue. I continue to enjoy what Condon is building in this series and look forward to seeing where it finally lands.
The Art: Cappuccio creates beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this series and the visual contrast between both sides of this story.
