The Rundown: The true history of the Impossible City is revealed.

Discarded in a dying world after serving their master Kang, Artur must deal with his failure and appeal to his knights. As the group finds a new purpose for themselves, they decide to be the heroes that they were created to emulate as the Twilight Court. First, they will need to find a way to escape the dying planet.

The team find and repair a derelict ship that once served Kang and dub it Camelot as they bring it back to life and take it to the stars. It’s AI repaired, the ship becomes part of the team as they spread across the galaxy acting as heroes, but their last mission will unleash a deadly force that the Avengers will have to bring down.

The Story: MacKay crafts an entertaining and engaging story for the Court in this issue. It acts as a great way to introduce the characters, give them purpose and craft a backstory for the Impossible City that makes its journey compelling. I like that the Avengers exist in the shadows of this story and look forward to seeing how these events come together with them.

The Art: Pina creates some beautifully detailed art in the issue. I really love the atmosphere created in this issue and how Pina brings the reader into the world of this story.
