The Rundown: Wanda and Clea face off against Dormammu.
Clea fights a deadly and dangerous creature in her realm and calls on help from the sorcerer supreme as her uncle Dormammu enters the realm in search of his niece Donna to replenish his own failing power. Using the creature as a distraction, he goes after the child only to be intercepted by Wanda and Bats.
As Wanda and Clea battle the creature Dormammu released, Bats helps Donna unleash her growing power to hold back the Dread Dormammu. As the battle rages, no one realizes that an ancient evil held for eons by the Vishanti is about to be unleashed.
The Story: Orlando continues to take Wanda to new, intriguing and thoroughly entertaining places in this series. Not only do I continue to love the storyline, but also the agency it gives Wanda and how interesting it makes her character. Not only are there moments of great action, but also moments of heart in the scenes between Wanda and Clea. I absolutely love Wanda’s solution to the Dormammu problem and the introduction of a new threat makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Chang delivers visually stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visual style, character designs and look of this issue a lot.
