Deron GenerallyPokemon Go creator Niantic has announced a new event next week coming on the heels of the popular games first anniversary.
The Fire and Ice Event, also known as the Solstice Event will begin June 13th and will run until June 20th. As the name suggests, the event will feature an increased spawn rate for both fire and ice based Pokémon. There will also be more XP available and discounted Lucky Eggs.
There promises to be an increase in the spawn rates of Pokémon including Charmander, Cyndaquil, Houndour, Vulpix, Flareon and others.
