The Rundown: Collins continues his investigation as both the stakes and political tensions rise.

Collins and his Russian counterpart discuss the autopsy results including what was placed inside the victim after she was murdered and that leads the pair to discuss the history of the land and what both of their nations did to its indigenous community. A discussion that will lead Collins to a profile of the killer and a call back home.

With some information and speculation between the pair, they head off into the rea north of where they previously looked and discover where the killer has been living in the frozen landscape. A discovery that will lead Collins into the woods where he is confronted by the killer himself.

The Story: Kudranski delivers a thrilling, intense and engaging mystery in this issue. I love the slow buildup of suspense and tension throughout the story as Collins deals with not only the discomfort of being out of his element, but also the highly charged political atmosphere he finds himself in. I really enjoyed the revelations made in the story and what they could mean going forward and the story ends with a great cliffhanger that was thoroughly enjoyable.

The Art: Kudranski creates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting moments throughout the issue. The art gives the reader a sense of being part of the world of the story and subject to its environment.
