L.A. Noire was an incredibly popular and critically acclaimed game from Rockstar when it was released in 2011. It received a nomination for Best Graphics from VGX and multiple BAFTA award nominations including Best Game and Best Artistic Achievement.
Now it looks like the game will be coming back for the current generation of consoles with a remastered edition that includes the innovative 1940’s detective story along with the additional downloadable content and the original cases exclusive to the HTC Vive will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and XBOX One on November 14, 2017.
“L.A. Noire for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One delivers the complete original game and all additional downloadable content with a range of technical enhancements for greater visual fidelity and authenticity, including enhanced lighting and clouds, new cinematic camera angles, high-resolution textures and more,” Rockstar said.
As a fan of the game when it was first released and who still plays it now, it will be interesting to see how the new version looks on next generation consoles considering how cutting edge the facial animations were at the time.
Let me know if you’re going to pick up L.A. Noire when it’s released and on what system will you play it.
