The Rundown: The League will gather the members of the Parliaments of Life together to bring balance back, but Constantine has other motives.
With a deal in place and the representatives gathered, Dr. Fate prepares the ceremony that will end the hostilities. A ceremony that will need Jason Woodrue aka the Floronic Man. After ending the threat of Anton Arcane, Abby and the rest of the team gather, but Constantine needs help healing Zatanna.
As the Parliaments give up their powers for the ceremony, Constantine enacts a bold plan to not only end the war between the supernatural forces, but also to bring back an old friend.
The Story: Ram V and James Tynion IV fill this part of the story with some interesting and unexpected twists and turns. The story goes in directions that I couldn’t predict prompted by Constantine and his choices made the story exciting. The action is fantastic and there is some great character development and moments for Abby Arcane throughout. I really enjoyed the dialogue and the cliffhanger ending promises some dark times to come for the team.
The Art: Kyle Hotz has some impressive art in this issue. There is a fluidity to the action and every panel is beautifully detailed.
