The Rundown: The Butcher of Hyde Street begins his mission.

Sister Hood races to the castle of the Matinee Monster after pulling a disturbing card from her deck related to Mr. X-Ray. At the same time, Pranky is determined to save his mother and believes that the Butcher of Hyde Street is the only one that can help him. While Sister Hood goes to find X-Ray. Pranky tries to convince the Monster to help him free the Butcher.

X-Ray is desperate to find out why his daughter appeared to him but another resident brings him down to Earth with some sobering information. Pranky manages to free the Butcher and the Scorekeeper realizes too late that something on Hyde Street has changed. Something the residents of Hyde Street will discover first hand.

The Story: Johns ramps up the terror and suspense throughout this issue. There is great action throughout the issue and I love the confrontation between Pranky and the Matinee Monster. There is a great buildup of tension throughout the issue and the story is taking some interesting and exciting twists and turns that make me excited to see what happens next.

The Art: Reis creates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this series and how brilliantly drawn the characters are.
