The Rundown: Maia and Sebastian discover who has been making new coins and their hunt for him could cost them everything.
The mystery man creating new demon coins has run into a problem as his supply of prisoners has run out. As he begins his plans to get more victims, Sebastian and Maia continue to investigate the man with Maia using some dangerous magic in order to find his location. After discovering where he is, the pair decide that they cannot take him on alone so Sebastian goes to get some help.
After a quick trip to recruit some back up, they make it in time to confront the man before he escapes with more people. A confrontation that will lead to the death of a friend and the capture of Sebastian.
The Story: An intense and thrilling story from Soule filled with great action. I continue to love the premise of this series and the characters continue to be engaging. I love how Soule raises the stakes for the couple while also introducing new and interesting characters to the world. I enjoyed the cliffhanger ending and look forward to seeing what comes next.
The Art: Sliney delivers great action with an awesome visual style. I love the look of the action and how visually thrilling it is.
