Deron GenerallyI reported yesterday that Marvel television and FXX would not be going forward with an animated Deadpool series from Atlanta creator/writer Donald Glover. It looks like the future Lando Calrissian from the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story movie is not taking the cancellation lying down.
Glover took to his Twitter account to dispel rumors that he was “too busy” to write the animated series.

He also posted excerpts from a mock series finale script that shows Deadpool riffing on the cancellation as he tries to save the last white rhino while talking about the latest celebrity scandals including whoever bit Beyonce, etc. The script pages are available on Glover’s Twitter feed if you’re interested. The new season of Atlanta is currently playing on FX. Donald Glover will next be seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story May 25, 2018.
