The Rundown: The World Forger sends the champions to new and different worlds.

The final four champions competing for the heart of Apokalips are interrupted in their upcoming fight with the Absolute heroes by an injured World Forger and Gorilla Grodd who tells them they need additional Omega Energy to finish this fight and to do that he will send them to new and different realities to fight their champions for the energy.
Black Lightning and Plastic Man find themselves facing off in Mortal Kombat against Sub-Zero and Scorpion. Wonder Woman takes on Red Sonja in an arena while Batwoman invades the castle of Vampirella. Lex Luthor has a potentially deadly battle with Samantha Strong when he finds her in the midst of her work and Joker has a strange encounter with a silent doll named Annabelle. Star Sapphire gets some unwanted help from Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Superman gets into a all-out brawl with Homelander.
The Story: Adams crafts a fun and entertaining interlude from the main story and I really appreciate it. Not only does it have some fun moments, but it also showcases some comic titles I really like outside of the big two of DC and Marvel. Joker’s frustration with Annabelle was hilarious and I loved seeing Luthor deal with the fury of Samantha. My only complaint is that it felt too short. I would have really liked these stories to be their own shorts or for the story to run at least three issues. Other than that, it was a fun read.
The Art: All of the artists deliver great imagery throughout the issue. I really liked the character designs and how fun and visually engaging every moment looked.
