The Rundown: Big changes are happening for Batman and his allies as the city continues to turn against them.

In the aftermath of his disastrous date with Dr. Zeller, Bruce tries to deal with the fact that Damian revealed to her, as Robin, that he is Bruce’s son. A move that has a strange resolution when he realizes that she still hasn’t connected him to being Batman. At the same time, a witness to the murder of a police officer linked to Batman pays a visit to Harvey Bullock with evidence of Savage’s involvement.
Batman returns to the streets as tensions among the gangs intensifies and he must take on mutants created by Hugo Strange. Tim pays a visit to deliver some sobering news to the Dark Knight and Zeller pays a visit to her new patient who has a long and deadly connection to Batman.
The Story: Fraction creates some interesting tension throughout this story and this arc. I continue to love the pacing, immediacy and intensity of the story as well as the changes the characters are making in their lives and what those changes mean for Bruce as he continues to see his city turn against him. I really like seeing all the factions of the city at play in this new reality and the story creates a great twist at the end with the reveal of Zeller and her patient.
The Art: Jimenez delivers beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue and the action is amazing.
