The Rundown: Madoc finds a lead after speaking with another victim.

Madoc and Tyler make their way to the home of the possible first victim of the Keep and discover that the killer has been in contact with the victim’s mother since her son disappeared. After learning of the lengths their quarry has gone to keep in touch with her, Tyler discovers something that gives him a clue about the Keep.

Madoc and Tyler travel to where they think the Keep’s actual home is and after being attacked, Madoc discovers something beneath the home that could be the key to his entire investigation.

The Story: Snyder ramps up the thrills in this issue as it takes some great storytelling moments to immerse the reader in the investigation. I love the tension throughout the issue and continue to enjoy how this story balances suspense and character. A continuously great read that contains an immersive world and a fantastic and thrilling mystery.

The Art: Sherman’s art is fantastic. I love the character designs and how the visuals capture the tone of each scene.

I love Scott Snyder’s work and look forward to reading this. I want to read this mainly because of the creepy covers, they are quite tempting…
