The Rundown: While Sam is on the run, the real killer stalks his next victims.

Sam is on the run and the real killer has decided to use the opportunity to turn the town into a true hunting ground as he boldly stalks his next victims. Victims who apparently commit the cardinal sin of forgetting who he is.

As he hones in on his next victim, Samantha returns to the town to confront the young man’s only connection to the world. Someone who seems to know who and what this young man is. Someone Sam will use to finally end this confrontation once and for all.

The Story: Horvath delivers a fantastic finale for this series. The story delivers on all of the calculated intelligence of the character to create a series of circumstances that feel deliberate and satisfying. Every moment of the story pays off emotionally with thrilling suspense and a deeply engaging narrative. As satisfying as this ending is, it creates the kind of world and story that makes me excited to revisit this place and its characters again.

The Art: Horvath delivers some beautifully detailed and stylish art throughout the issue. I continue to love its visual style and how it subverts expectations on what you will see throughout the issue.
