The Rundown: Batman and Superman face a threat from both Joker and Luthor.

Batman invites Superman to the cave to watch a game when Superman hears of a break in at the Gotham office of STAR Labs. Lex Luthor is looking for a new piece of technology when he finds himself transported into the tunnels beneath the city by Joker who has a partnership proposal for him.
The two villains break into a museum to find a piece of alien technology and run into Hawkman who holds them off until Superman and Batman arrive. In the ensuing chase, the villains bickering unleashes a power that will make them into a walking nightmare and impossible for Superman and Batman to stop.
The Story: Waid delivers a fun, thrilling adventure in this issue. There is great action throughout and I continue to love how Waid has the characters interact. I like the pace and tone of the story a lot and it culminates in a great reveal and a new complication that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Gutierrez creates some beautifully detailed and visually impressive art throughout the issue. I love the look of this story as well as the character designs and action.
