The Rundown: A new member joins the team as a new mystery begins in Gotham.

Bruce and Damian receive a visitor in the form of Verity Pennyworth who has been changed with taking over for her late Uncle Alfred and she makes an impressive first impression on Damian as Bruce verifies her identity and purpose. At the same time, a series of murders take place in Gotham perpetrated by different assassins using different methods.
After discovering the assassin’s next victim, two of them find themselves in the same place as Batman rushes in to put a stop to them. As Batman begins a new mission to bring in the killers, Joker receives an unknown visitor at Arkham.
The Story: Fraction crafts a thrilling, engaging and thoroughly entertaining story in this issue. I love the grounded feel of the story, especially the assassins and Fraction does a great job of weaving Verity into the story without skipping a beat for the heroes. There is an interesting mystery building in this story both with the assassins and with Joker and I look forward to seeing where those mysteries go.
The Art: Jimenez crafts beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the character designs a lot as well as the action.
