The Rundown: Nubia experiences the violence hatred brings while also discovering who betrayed the Amazons.

The propaganda against the Amazons continues to grow throughout the world as more Amazons run in fear and the remaining Amazon heroes find themselves under the influence of the apples of discord. Both Cassie and Yara are compromised by the effect and manage to capture Mary in order to take her to Asylum.

At the same time, Nubia and Faruka are surrounded by Peacemaker and his forces while Nubia fights her way through a dark memory that gives her more information about the entity that they face. When the pair get some unexpected help to escape, Nubia discovers the scope of the sentiment against Amazons before discovering who actually betrayed them all.

The Story: Campbell delivers a story filled with great tension and thrills. The suspense in the story is intense and the standoff with Peacemaker is well done. I continue to enjoy the world of this story and how it mixes great action and intrigue. The realization of what the Amazons are facing is done really well through the eyes of Nubia and there is a moment of sad tragedy that really brought the series together.

The Art: Georgiev delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. I really love the visual style of the issue and how it matches the intensity of the plot.
