The Rundown: A young woman wakes in a strange land and the mystery of her presence begins an adventure.

A young woman awakens in the middle of a swamp in Mordent where she sees a strange device in the sky before it disappears. She attempts to make her way to civilization while a voice speaks to her before a strange creature attacks her.

She is rescued by twin warriors who claim to be monster hunters, investigators and the students of Rudolph Van Richten. They manage to determine that the woman is named Ohnin, but they cannot discover what domain she comes from or why she is in Mordent. They might not have a lot of time to figure it out as something new emerges in the sky.

The Story: Chu creates a dark, thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. I love the lore of this world and Chu does a great job of blending that lore with a story that is engaging and a mystery I want to explore. I love the action in the story as well as the characters and I look forward to seeing where this story goes and how the mystery within it evolves.

The Art: Rosado creates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the character designs and the dark visual tone.
