The Rundown: Slade and his neighbors fight for their lives against a new threat.

The amulet has shrunk Slade again, but it has also shrank his neighbors, an angry exterminator and his brother as well. As the group is being pulled off by crows, Slade activates the amulet and gets his armor and weapon back. After bringing down the crow carrying him, Slade and the others escape with the help of a trapper named Doolie.

Doolie takes the group to his home and Slade tells the others the truth of what is happening to them while also discovering that the exterminator knows more than he’s letting on. When one of the group leaves to go on their own, Slade and the others follow and discover something dangerous nearby. At the same time, Slade’s brother discovers the dangers of the yard.

The Story: Aaron crafts a thrilling adventure in this issue. It continues to expand on the world of the story as well as its lore and I appreciate that immensely. I really like the characters and their dynamic although the neuro-divergent child running off and immediately becoming a problem felt a little simple. Beyond that, the story continues to make some interesting choices that keep me invested and I cannot wait to see where the story goes next.

The Art: Asrar crates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the look of this issue a lot as well as the characters.
