The Rundown: The hunt for a dangerous book will lead Matt back to a familiar face.

With the word out on the street that there is a ledger owned by Wilson Fisk out in the world, every gangster from Owl to Silvermane is tearing the city apart trying to retrieve it. Matt has his hands full as Daredevil when he is forced to intervene in the gangland wars to stop potential civilian deaths and that means taking on everyone from Owl to Tombstone.

After stopping a trap and finding the young man with the ledger, Daredevil teams with Owl to keep him safe. Unfortunately, the two will get separated and Matt will eventually track the ledger to the church where Elektra is waiting for him with the ledger in hand and seemingly no plans to turn it over.

The Story: Phillips continues to craft a thrilling, entertaining story in this issue. There is a fantastic buildup of action and thrills throughout the story and I really enjoyed seeing Daredevil react to another potential gang war. I loved the progression of the story and the immediacy of the action. There is a wonderful pacing to the story that kept me engaged every step of the way and brought it home with a great series of moments between Matt and Elektra.

The Art: Flaviano creates some intense and beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. The story is heavy on action and thrills and the art matches and enhances that energy with every chase sequence and fight.
