The Rundown: Sarah Archer reveals her final confession and what she did to her sister.

After finally finding and removing the head of the Horseman, Sarah Archer has all the power she needs to enact her revenge on the people of Sleepy Hollow. It will start by reclaiming the thing she wants the most and will destroy everything she has built in the town to get it, her sister Mary.

Sarah uses the Horseman to reclaim her family home, destroy the evidence of her crimes and deliver more victims as Mary is lured into a trap. Sarah reveals everything to her sister, who tries to fight back, but is overwhelmed and can only watch helplessly as Sarah takes her identity, plots her revenge and worms her way into the home of the Van Tassel family. An act Sarah will recount as she accepts her fate in hell.

The Story: Dawson does a great job of bringing all the story and character motivations together for this final issue. There is great drama, suspense and darkness throughout the story and all of the elements work to create a tragedy for one sister and a dark triumph for the other. I really enjoyed how this story brings all the elements together to bridge the gap between the events of the past and the ones from the film. This story definitely sticks the landing.

The Art: Jaro creates some beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the story. The imagery is lush, beautiful and haunting.
