The Rundown: Tragedy strikes the royal family and the heir to the throne might be next.

A freak storm rages in the North Sea and members of the royal family are on board a yacht in the middle of it. As the storm rages, tragedy strikes and the Prime Minister is forced to pay a visit to the king and his advisors who will have to find a new successor to take over when the king abdicates.
The king chooses his troubled grandson Theo to take over and they send for him and his fiancé. With the search for the royal yacht continuing and the possibility of an attack as its cause for disappearance, Theo must deal with the media scrutiny and his own troubled past as a dark influence begins to creep into his mind.
The Story: Hannah Rose May delivers a thrilling, dark and engaging story in this first issue. There is a great mystery brewing in this issue and I love how the story crafts a character battling addiction as both a figurative and literal demon. The story has some great characters throughout and creates circumstances that make me interested in seeing not only where the story goes next, but what other mysteries and reveals lie within it.
The Art: Ramsay creates some beautifully detailed art that perfectly captures the tone and mood of the story.
