The Rundown: Three different groups meet to discuss the mutant situation while a small team looks for a threat to the planet.

The Quiet Council meets to discuss the growing threat of Orchis to both Krakoa and the mutant world in general. As plans are discussed and debated, Orchis decides to make its next move by sending Nimrod to rescue MODOK so that his latest experiment can be altered for their agenda. On Mars, Storm has her own issues to deal with as Arrako wishes to return to war on Amenth. A conversation that takes on a different tone when Storm proposes something that the island itself agrees with.

Gambit and Rogue travel deeper into space to find the location of Gameworld, but are informed that another mutant has already beat them to it. A mutant with both a personal connection to the couple and a means of getting the information that they need. At the same time, a member of the X-Men gets a clear signal that the island of Arrako is in need of something only they can deliver.

The Story: I continue to be interested in this arc and love the complexity of it. There are moments that meander a little too much, but the story is solid enough to keep me intrigued. While the council aspects can be a little slow, the story is redeemed by Gambit and Rogue. I liked those moments a lot and there were definitely some humorous moments to be found as well.

The Art: Villa delivers some awesome art on every page of this issue. The art is vibrant, fun and gorgeously detailed.
