The Rundown: While members of the team fight one of their own on Gameworld, Cyclops and Synch discover the truth behind Dr. Stasis.

Cyclops has fought his way to the lair of Dr. Statis and discovered the truth about the killer. A truth that will send ripples through the mutant world all the way back to the Quiet Council. After Statis makes his dramatic exit, Cyclops and Synch are left to defuse the bombs he left all over the town. At the same time, Jean and the others are being taken down by Wolverine under the control of the master of Gameworld. Or are they?

In the aftermath, Gameworld finds itself under new management while Scott and Everett decide to pay a visit to someone and make amends. An amends that will open the door to the biggest secret the mutants hold being exposed to the world as the team grapples with their own destinies and Stasis plots his next move.

The Story: Duggan crafts an entertaining and exciting story in this issue. The character development continues to be great and the team dynamic is compelling. I like the expanding world of these characters and how they are learning and evolving within it. I love the reveal about Stasis and what it means for the Council and Krakoa itself. Things are getting a lot more interesting in the mutant world and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

The Art: Larraz has a brilliant visual eye and every page has something that feeds the imagination. I continue to be in awe of the style and spectacle of this series.
