As the hunt continues, Giganta goads Wonder Woman about why she is a hero. It’s an argument that usually wouldn’t affect her, but her loneliness takes in the words and makes her doubt herself. The biggest rift between the two seems to be about Diana holding herself back in order to pander to those weaker than she is. It’s an argument that has a kernel of merit as Diana discovers that the Titans are not sentient and proceeds to decimate them.

Meanwhile, Maggie’s discovery not only helps to turn the tide of the battle in Diana’s favor, but also secures the young woman’s place as the newest addition to Diana’s quest. A quest that will be full of danger and wonder for the young woman.

Wilson does a good job of bringing this part of the story to a satisfying conclusion while also keying up the next part of the story. The transition is well done and entertaining. The dialogue is done well, especially the scenes between Diana and Giganta. It will be interesting to see how their dynamic evolves beyond this and what it will mean for their future encounters.

Both Cary Nord and Ronan Cliquet do a great job with the art in the issue. The details look great and the characters are done incredibly well.
