The Rundown: The team fights to reunite as Aurora continues to act erractically.
Charlotte and Valentina’s escape through American history is stopped when Levant captures them and decides to leave them to die. Before she leaves, she imparts some interesting information about Aurora that could make their mission a lot more dangerous. At the same time, Ace confronts Chang and Janet as well as their future selves with some upgraded technology.
After taking out the threat, Change receives something from his future self that he hides from the others. Charlotte and Valentina finally reunite with the rest of the group, but the next zone they find themselves in could be just as unforgiving as the others,
The Story: Soule and Snyder continue to create an engaging, exciting and thought provoking story in this issue. Not only are there some great character moments throughout the issue, but there is great action and tension that kept me invested from start to finish. The story continues to tease more mysteries to be uncovered and I am definitely along for the ride.
The Art: Camuncoli and Marcello Grassi deliver amazing imagery across the issue. Everything from the expansive landscapes to the intimate character moments look fantastic and draw you into the world of these characters.
