The Rundown: Logan and his new team go on the hunt for Ilyana and discover another one of her weapons.

Ilyana remembers her life as a young girl trapped in Limbo and how she used the ruler of that world to amass the power that she now holds. In the present, Phoenix hovers in the sky over the woods as Logan and Sentinel One continue to track Ilyana and discover that there is a small town nearby. Logan goes into town to get supplies and discovers that there are soldiers in the area fleeing Moscow and a woman with them that might be their target.
After tracking the soldiers, they discover the woman isn’t Ilyana but Lady Deathstrike. As they fight the soldiers, Logan takes on Deathstrike and Jean reaches into her mind to not only see who and what she is, but also a list of possible locations where their quarry could be hiding.
The Story: There is a lot of great buildup in this issue and I love the dynamic between Logan, Jean and Sentinel One. I like the teases of Ilyana’s past and how she has been manipulating people from an early age. The Deathsrike reveal was probably the weakest part of the story because it didn’t really connect to anything with the characters. She was reduced to another thing to go through and I think the character deserved better. An entertaining story for the most part, but really want the arc to pick up the pace.
The Art: Cappuccio delivers stunning art throughout the issue. From the character designs to the visual tone, everything works visually to convey the tone and mood of the story.
