The Rundown: The Thundercats find a prisoner among their enemies as Mumm-Ra begins his plans for the eye.

Lion-O continues to grieve the loss of the sword of omens but discovers that the eye of Thunderra continues to work as he looks for the rest of the Thundercats who are salvaging the downed Mu’Tant ship. They discover something unexpected and decide to bring it back to their base. Something that will continue to raise the tensions among Panthro and the lord of the Thundercats.

At the same time, Slithe proves himself against the creatures of Third Earth while Mumm-Ra continues to speak to Jaga and reveals that he has plans for the Thundercats and the Eye of Thunderra,

The Story: A fun, thrilling and entertaining issue from Shalvey. I continue to enjoy the world being created in this series and how it delivers on everything that I loved about the original series and the lore behind it. There is some great tension in the story and I continue to enjoy the fully realized characters.

The Art: Moss delivers beautiful action and details throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this series and how beautiful the characters look.

Dynamite is very hit or miss with me but I try anything Shalvey writes or draws (his Time Before Time is excellent). I like the art and modern aesthetics of the Thundercats shown here as well. I will check it out.
