The Rundown: Geralt discovers the monster he’s been sent to kill, but finds more monsters than he can handle.

Locked in a cage alongside the creatures he was helping, Geralt finds himself at the mercy of Ekerot. As the mysterious stranger who leads the cult dedicated to the liberation of all creatures prepares to pay a visit to the castle, Geralt receives an unexpected visitor who implores him to kill the real monster at the heart of this conflict.

The Story: Sztybor brings this arc to an entertaining and brilliantly compelling conclusion with great action, thrills and a fantastic moral quandary for Geralt that has wonderful layers to it. I love the characters within the story and how morally ambiguous they all are. It’s interesting to see how Geralt deals with the complicated characters and their issues.

The Art: Rerekina delivers some beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. I love the emotional moments with the characters throughout the issue and how the imagery reflects those emotions.
