Jennifer continues her tour of the green with Woodrue as her guide. Not knowing who the man is, she finds herself trusting his judgement. Something she will quickly learn is a mistake. As she moves deeper into the green, Levi is challenged by Alec Holland to fully embrace what he is becoming.
As Levi learns more about the green, he makes a decision. One that will require the help of Ivy in order to make happen. As both work on the problem, Jennifer makes a discovery and both of them will learn that their trip to the green has gotten the attention of some nefarious parties.
The Story: Ram V ramps up the stakes in a satisfying continuation. While the story lacks a lot of the thrills of previous issues, taking the time for the character to embrace who and what he is becoming is a great way to move the story forward. There are great moments of revelation and dialogue throughout. The story flows well with the characters and Ram V does an excellent job of setting up the bigger threats and conflicts to come for Levi.
The Art: Perkins does a great job with the art in the issue. There are great details in every scene and the art does a brilliant job of creating the look of the green.
