The Rundown: Ernie Ray Clementine continues to run from the consequences of his actions.

The modern world has been transformed into a white, 1950’s utopia and Ernie finds himself trying to get help from Prospero. Unfortunately, they already got what they wanted from him and cut him off. To make matters worse, Sister Mary is on his tail trying to extract the formula from him. After causing a ruckus at a local hospital, Ernie barely escapes with his life.

Ernie finds that living in a 1950’s style world isn’t all its cracked up to be when he finds himself on the run from more than just Sister Mary. After a series of misadventures through a Nick At Nightmare, Ernie finds himself cornered by a mob and makes a difficult decision just in time to get a last minute save that might save the world.

The Story: Remender delivers a hilarious nightmare hellscape in this issue. The story takes some awesome extremes of both behavior and character with Ernie right in the center. The story is hilarious across the board, and I loved the wonderful visual gags throughout the story. Gags that give some interesting and hilarious context to the time.

The Art: Boschi beautifully brings the charm, comedy, and action of this story to life with the amazing and beautifully detailed art. There are so many great visual gags to be found in this issue and I loved discovering each one.
