The Rundown: Flynn and her friends will discover that they are part of an unknown and very deadly struggle.
Flynn finds herself facing off against Agony and Ecstasy as her room continues to burn. As she runs to escape the killers, she finds herself face to face with the creature that continues to haunt her waking moments. At the same time, the Corinthian sits at the edge of the Dreaming and decides to make another return to the world.
Agony and Ecstasy decide to try a different tactic when word gets to them about the involvement of someone from the Dreaming as Flynn races to see her friend Robbie who happens to be in the home of a wealthy man who has some connection to the bigger threat looming over Flynn and her friends.
The Story: James Tynion IV crafts a haunting, dark and dangerous story in this issue. The plot takes some great turns throughout and the danger of Agony and Ecstasy makes the story more engaging. I love the scope of the story and how it is expanding as well as how the characters are beginning to intertwine. I am invested in this story and its characters. I cannot wait to see where the story goes next.
The Art: Estherren delivers some fantastic art on every page of the issue. There are some awesome visual moments that are both engaging and scary at the same time.
