The Rundown: Tara learns more about her new companions as a new alliance if forged in blood.

As they travel north, Cal tells Tara about the company he travels with and introduces some of them before revealing more about his past. As they get closer to the coast, they find a Vangol ship and are attacked by a raiding party that might end their alliance before it can begin.

At the same time, Troth and Faran are on their wedding hunt and learning more about each other when they find themselves attacked by giant wolves. An attack that might bring the struggling couple closer together and strengthen their land.

The Story: Wilson continues to craft a compelling and engaging world in this second issue. The lore and world building are fantastic and the story scratches all of my fantasy itches. I love the threat the characters are facing as well as the characters themselves. The plot and writing create a beautifully immersive experience where you feel a part of this world and I cannot wait for the next part of this story.

The Art: Wildgoose delivers some beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how the art brilliantly channels and expands the world of these characters. Every page has something visually stunning to see.
