The Rundown: Peter and MJ are on the run from a dangerous threat to their world.

As the mysterious weather event continues to plague the city the events return to the year before as Peter and Mary Jane find themselves on the run from deadly creatures in a ruined world. A much needed rescue from a familiar face gives them time to regroup and find shelter as Rabin deals with the powerful Wayep and its quest to destroy Spider-Man.

A momentary reprieve gives Peter time to work on a device that could get one of them home when Wayep discovers them and attacks. With Peter unable to fend off the attack, Mary Jane will do something to try to help Peter. Something that will change everything between them.

The Story: Wells delivers an exciting and thrilling story in this issue. The seeds that have been planted since the beginning of the arc are starting to bear fruit and I love the surprises revealed in the story. There is come great tension throughout the story and its connection to Spider-Man directly is developed well. I look forward to seeing where the story goes next.

The Art: John Romita Jr delivers some fantastic art filled with great details and awesome action throughout. I love the visual scale of the story and how the art delivers on that scale.
